When I went for my reading glasses the optometrist sent me to the ophthalmologist, who told me I had Glaucoma and gave me eye drops over the years.
I had different eye specialists because I moved around a bit. I've had laser treatments, different eye operations (cataracts as well) and was already told in 1999 that I had severe Glaucoma.
I use two different eye drops twice a day and one, once a day. I have tunnel vision in my left eye and my right eye is a bit better. My view is a bit hazy and I cannot read from a distance.
I don't drive anyway, got glasses for reading and that's fine. I see my specialist every six months and hope for the best.
I have told my family to have their eyes checked for Glaucoma and so far have been Glaucoma free. I always put my eye drops in regularly.
