October 2021

I was first diagnosed when I had cataracts removed (both eyes) in 2000. I had an allergic reaction to the drops prescribed by my ophthalmologist.

I subsequently had a trabeculectomy in both eyes and now use two eye drops up to three times a day.

I have reading glasses only and still drive my car, and feel fortunate at 86 to be able to life to the maximum. I also always wear sunglasses outside.
