My glaucoma was first picked up by a regular visit to the optometrist 22 years ago...
After I explained to the optometrist that I had been seeing halos around street lights at night, and dark spots in the centre of my vision intermittently, they decided to test my pressures. Both eyes' IOP measured around 40.
I have been treated by a specialist with multiple drops, laser treatment, cataracts and iStents, and am currently using drops again. I have a history where my eye pressure spikes to 40 rather quickly.
My vision is blurry occasionally, I experience intermittently headaches on one side of my head around my worse eye and find light helpful to read sometimes. One eye seems to be deteriorating more than the other.
