An optometrist detected glaucoma in both my eyes whilst performing an eyesight test for the purpose of selecting the right eyeglasses.
The optometrist then referred me to an eye surgeon for treatment who observed that my glaucoma was at an early stage and went on to prescribe Bimatoprost and Brinzolamide eye drops to instill daily. So far, my glaucoma condition is under control with no further deterioration; perhaps due to early detection and medical attention.
