'Be the Spark' and brighten tomorrow

Include a Charity Week, runs this year from 2 - 8 September, highlighting the incredible impact Australians are making on society by choosing to leave a gift in their Will to their favourite charities.  

Glaucoma Australia is proud to be a member of Include a Charity and part of an ongoing social change movement that promotes legacy giving and creates a better world.  

Spearheaded by the Fundraising Institute of Australia, the campaign is aligned with international legacy weeks worldwide. It has a phenomenal impact on the community and the theme for this year, "Be the Spark", reinforces the idea of the continuing and inherent potential and future-proofing act of leaving a charitable gift in your Will. It is a wonderful, hopeful, and selfless gesture.  

The theme also underscores the notion that leaving a gift in your Will is a spark of generosity that will continue beyond our lifetime, illuminating the darkness that surrounds so many lives.  

After looking after your loved ones, any gift is greatly appreciated and allows us to plan ahead, to invest in the research that will one day find a cure and continue to support and care for families impacted by glaucoma.
