23 May 2018 Continuing Medical Education publication Glaucoma Now has a new home and from May 2018 is now hosted by Glaucoma Australia. Previously hosted in Europe the online publication has moved down under and will continue to be distributed worldwide.
Glaucoma Awareness Week campaign aims to find 150,000 Aussies who are unaware they have glaucoma
Despite being the world’s leading cause of irreversible blindness, more than 10 million Aussies do not automatically think to have a simple eye exam by an optometrist or ophthalmologist which can save their sight. This means they are potentially suffering preventable but irreversible blindness.

November 2017 - Glaucoma Australia (GA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Annie Gibbins as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 February 2018. She succeeds Mr Geoff Pollard, who will retire after 7 years at the helm of GA.
