Community pharmacist Khanh Nguyen will discuss how to use your glaucoma medication, compare original vs generic brands, and share general tips for using your glaucoma eye drops. She will also provide a pharmacy update and discuss how your community pharmacist can help you get the most optimal general health outcomes.
Ms Nguyen has worked as a community pharmacist for 16 years after completing a B.Pharm (UQ) in Queensland. She was also on the frontline in a 24-hour Supercare Pharmacy in Victoria during the lockdown in 2020.
Her areas of interest include mental health, pharmacy education, and integrative pharmacy. Khanh has been working with Glaucoma Australia's Clinical Committees since June 2020, and enjoys working with other allied health professionals on strategies to detect and defeat glaucoma and raise glaucoma awareness in the wider community.
