Glaucoma Australia works with its partners to develop continuing professional development activities for ophthalmologists. Currently available activities are listed below:

Glaucoma Now Issue 1 - 2019:  Glaucoma and Concomitant Eye Diseases 

Glaucoma Now is a continuing medical education publication aimed at general ophthalmologists, ophthalmology residents and glaucoma specialists. Based on the information that can be found in each issue, we offer an associated e-learning course. 

Individual issues of Glaucoma Now are accredited for 4 Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits.

SLT Clinical Audit  

The Glaucoma Australia SLT Clinical Audit is a randomised study that investigates the health-related impact of telephone based education for patients booked for SLT treatment, in terms of glaucoma-related comprehension, levels of anxiety and future management plans. 

RANZO has approved this CPD activity for 30 Points in the Clinical Expertise category level 2.

Glaucoma Australia works with its partners to develop professional development resources for pharmacists. Current available activities are listed below:


Glaucoma and the Pharmacist

The PSA in partnership with Glaucoma Australia is hosting a three-module online learning activity to help increase glaucoma disease knowledge, enhance behaviour change understanding and provide training to assist pharmacists when conducting medication adherence discussions with patients prescribed glaucoma medication.

This activity has been accredited for 2 hours of Group 1 CPD (or 1 CPD credits) suitable for inclusion in an individual pharmacist’s CPD plan which can be converted to 2 hours of Group 2 CPD (or 4 CPD credits) upon successful completion of relevant assessment activities.
